Abstract

A work ethic that is rooted or based on a work culture is a characteristic spirit that is typical of a person or group of people / society about work which is oriented towards an effort to always seek improvements or improvements to what has been achieved, by applying values, theories and methods new for the advancement of mankind. Work ethic and work essence according to Bhagawadgita that work is a yadnya. If the work ethic says work based on culture, then work in Catur Marga, especially Karma Marga, is work that is reflected in its yad form. Catur Marga which consists of bhakti marga, jnana marga, karma marga and king marga, the four of which are a system, namely a system or approach to connecting oneself with God Almighty. This is necessary in the sense that religion is inseparable from our belief and relationship as humans to God as the creator of the universe. This study aims to determine the form of motivation for the work ethic of Hindus in Panglipuran Tourism Village, Bangli Regency, work ethic motivation as the implementation of the values of karma marga teachings, and work ethics based on the values of karma marga teachings in the lives of Hindus in Panglipuran Tourism Village, Bangli Regency. In this study, using three theories, namely the theory of motivation, theory of values and social theory. This research uses methods, namely; method of determining the location, type of data and research data sources, research objects and subjects, data collection techniques, methods of determining informants, and methods of data analysis. Abstract

Cultural and gastronomic tourism are potential options to be developed in Timbrah Traditional Village, Karangasem Regency. The Timbrah Traditional Village has a Usaba Sumbu ceremony which is held once a year with a procession that takes up to one week. The potential for implementing Usaba Sumbu as a tourist destination can be seen from the cultural attractions, culinary activities carried out by the community, as well as the potential for the development of craft crafts of the Timbrah traditional village community. The various cultural components summarized in Usaba Sumbu are utilized and supported by adequate accessibility, supporting facilities and supporting services.Keywords, Usaba Sumbu, cultural tourism, gastronomic tourism

Abstract

As tourism develops in Indonesia, so is the rapidly growing tourist attraction offered by Indonesia. Not only natural tourism is offered to tourists, but the Government of Indonesia also creates an educational tourism that is by developing the potential of Tourism Villages and Tourist Villages that are quite interesting for the interest of tourists who want to visit somewhere. Maspati Laws Tourism Village is one of the leading tourism attractions in Surabaya. With this there are many developing creative industries created by the community. And this study aims to find out how the potential of Tourism in the community base in order to increase the Creative Business of the residents of Kampung Maspati and what positive impacts occur after the existence of a tourist area in the area. The development of the creative industry is progressing very rapidly and helps the economy of the surrounding community. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine historical sources, cultural preservation, meaning, and the potential of the Makotek tradition to be developed as cultural tourism. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Primary data were obtained from interviews with several informants who were selected by purposive sampling, while secondary data were obtained from online publications. This study provides recommendations for culture-based tourism to be a very potential option to be developed in Munggu village, Badung regency. The potential for implementing the Makotek tradition as a cultural tourism destination can be seen from its cultural attractions and is supported by adequate accessibility, supporting facilities and good tourism institutions or organizations.Keywords: Makotek, Cultural Preservation, Cultural Tourism

Abstract

During Covid-19 pandemic, online learning has been the only option to continue learning process. For tourism vocational school, in learning English for Foreign Language, especially in the speaking aspect, the learning process can be a challenge. This research is a qualitative research which aims to see the teacher's perspective regarding challenges of speaking learning process in EFL context. Six educators were interviewed to answer this question. Based on the results of interviews, it was obtained that teachers experienced various challenges during learning process which included technical difficulties, challenges during the learning process and challenges in assessment. Through this research, it is hoped that further strategies to solve these challenges can be formulated.Keyword : challenge, english for foreign language, online learning, speaking.

Abstract

Nowadays tourism as one of the drivers of the world economy has positive and negative roles for the survival of nature. The rapid spread of COVID-19 has prompted the government to make various efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19. The implication of this condition has a direct impact on the tourism industry in Buleleng Regency. Based on the problems described, this study aims to examine policies for sustainable tourism development in Buleleng Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data as the basic source of analysis in this study were obtained by using the documentary study data collection technique. This data will then be processed through three stages consisting of data reduction, data presentation / display and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the tourism sector, which was slumped due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is entering a new normal era. Sustainable tourism will be a consequence of the part of tourism development, after the Covid-19 pandemic is over. Sustainable tourism work is not only sectoral work, but must be comprehensive, whether it be the community, government, academics and others, or what is commonly called pentahelix. Abstract

Tourism has a wide reach that concerns the interests of society as a whole, so it must be implemented properly. In Bali in general, in the implementation of tourism and its management with a cultural concept, it is necessary to make efforts to manage, preserve and develop assets owned by the region, especially cultural heritage which makes the objects and attractions of such cultural tourism. For this reason, it is necessary to manage cultural heritage that can organize and promote cultural heritage that can preserve cultural heritage. The island of Bali in the field of tourism offers many things for tourists to enjoy, not only its beautiful and captivating nature, but also cultural tourism which is a cultural-based characteristic in Bali which is important for tourists to know and enjoy. . In the development and application of culture, many concepts are carried out by tourism developers, ranging from local wisdom to following existing developments. In Hindu local wisdom, the concept that can be applied in the development of Hindu cultural tourism is the Tri Hita Karana Concept. The term Tri Hita Karana is developing, developing and socializing. In the concept of Hindu community life, Tri Hita Karana is the concept of balance, harmony and harmony between bhuana agung and bhuana alit which in its implementation emphasizes the harmonious relationship between humans and God / Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, humans and humans, and humans and the environment. The Tri Hita Karana concept in organizing Hindu cultural tourism is a concept that directs besides tourism development it can also protect ancestral heritage that has existed for a long time. The purpose of this paper is to find out about the Tri Hita Karana concept in the implementation of Hindu cultural tourism. The data collection method used in the writing of this article is the method of recording documents or literature study. As well as data analysis using descriptive analysis methods with induction and argumentation techniques. The results obtained from the writing of this scientific article are that the Tri Hita Karana Concept can be described in the implementation of Hindu cultural tourism. Abstract

In 2020, there will be Covid-19 Virus or severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). In preventing the transmission of Covid-19 in Indonesia, the government urges to prevent the virus from spreading by always implementing health procedures. The impact of this virus causes learning activities to be limited by conducting online learning for both students and students. Students can study from home without coming to campus with only electronic devices and internet networks, they can attend lectures. This also applies to the State College of Hindu Religion, Mpu Kuturan Singaraja, especially for students of the Hindu Cultural Tourism Study Program doing online lectures. One of the teachings of Hinduism that has global implications is the concept of Tri Hita Karana which means three causes of welfare, namely Prahyangan, Pawongan, Palemahan. During online learning students always apply the concept of the Tri Hita Karana teaching which is a concept of harmony and balance which consists of three parts, namely Prahyangan by establishing a harmonious relationship between humans and the Creator (Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, God Almighty), Pawongan establishes harmony the relationship between humans and humans, and Palemahan establishes a harmonious relationship between humans and nature. Abstract

Tradition has an important meaning for society. This tradition has cultural values which consist of conceptions that live in the minds of some members of society, regarding things that they must consider very valuable in life. It is the same as the tradition of Siat tipat bantal in the traditional village of Kapal. This tradition is considered very valuable in people's lives because people carry out this tradition, are believed to bring prosperity to their lives and will be free from harvest famine. This article aims to find out the source of the implementation of the Siat tipat bantal tradition which is carried out in the village of Kapal, Badung Regency; to examine the meaning of the ritual behind the implementation of the Siat Tipat Pillow tradition; and studying the tradition of Siat tipat bantal as a tourist attraction in the village of Kapal, Badung district. This research is a qualitative research using a structured approach which is used to study the structure of the practical awareness of the people of the ship who practice the traditional practice of Siat tipat bantal as a routine every year. The data collection method in this article is literature study. Abstract

Balinese culture is very diverse and there is no cultural similarity between one place and another, this gives a unique to every tradition it implements. Such as the implementation of the tradition omed-omedan / med-medan carried out by STT Banjar Kaja Desa Sesetan. Through qualitative approach and inform determination techniques using snowball method will certainly eliminate the data with the purpose of research. The data obtained is then defined qualitatively and presented in the form of narrative. This tradition has nothing in common with other traditions in Bali, of course this becomes the only mass kissing tradition in Bali. The existence of this unit tradition will certainly be interesting and have a selling point if then packaged neatly and interestingly in the form of cultural tourism presented. In the implementation of omed-omedan festival held a series of med-medan traditions, will certainly provide more value, especially those involved in the festival is the residents of Desa Sesetan as activists of cultural arts and entrepreneurship that can support the growth of the economic pace of the community.
